Women Driving
Payments Change
By Loraine DeBonis, Editor-in-Chief
Payments is no longer a boys’ club. Should there be more women in the C-suite? Sure.
But the glass ceiling is cracking because of the drive and passion
of countless women who work hard, make their voices heard and are instrumental in the expansion and evolution of electronic payments.
At a time during tremendous
shifts in technology and consumer demands, we asked Paybefore.com visitors to tell us which women
are pushing the industry forward. There was no finalist list. The women profiled on the follow-
ing pages rose to the top from a wide-open, global field. And, for the first time since we began our profile series, two teams of women got enough votes to make the list. We asked them to tell us about their road to payments, words they live by and what most excites them about their work right now.
If you don’t already know them, you should.
