With fraud at the top of everyone’s mind, Global Cash Card’s Geo-Protect Application provides our cardholders peace of mind that their funds are protected at all times.
This fraud-fighting system includes geographical spending zones, as well as continually evolving, learning and tailoring itself to each individual cardholder’s spending habits. When a card-present transaction occurs, we check it against
the cardholder’s geographic location, and if both are not in the same location,
the transaction is blocked. Cardholders have the ability to adjust the radius around them to allow a larger base for transactions.
The Geo-Protect System has three basic components:
